James & Hackett have been providing first class quality decorating for over 40 years in and around Oxfordshire.

The company was formed in 1968 by Glen Hackett and John (Jessie) James to provide Painting & Decorating for Oxford University with just a handful of decorators. 

Today James and Hackett employ over thirty staff. We still provide decorating for the University but now offer decorating to an ever increasing domestic home market as well as providing commercial works for shops, offices and factory units.

James & Hackett also has a Heritage department that provides quality decorating  for Country Estates and Stately Homes

Our Heritage Department covers the British Isles working on some of the most prestigious properties in Britain today.

Locally, James & Hackett cover Oxfordshire, including Aylesbury, Banbury and High Wycombe. We also cover Gloucestershire and Wiltshire including Swindon.

We are also currently working on projects in London and Manchester.
